Åbo Akademi Science Bites is a popular science video concept that I have developed together with the Communications department at Åbo Akademi University. The vision here was to – "make science sexy again", or more concretely to combine scientific substance with the aesthetics of social media.

In this project I had the main responsibility for everything from concept, to script, shooting the footage, handling the lights, interviewing, editing the footage and creating the graphics – even illustrating and animating in some videos.

It might sound like a lot but I really enjoy and thrive in this kind of project, where I'm taking on big responsibilities put also have the possibility to realise my own vision.

Of all popular science content produced by the Communications department at ÅAU ÅA Science Bites has gotten most response and interactions on social media. ÅA Science Bites is an ongoing project and we are constantly working on producing more popular science content.
